Overview
Tributary ("we," "our," or "us") is an investment income dashboard operated by AI West LLC. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service at trytributary.app.
Data We Collect
- Account information: Your email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
- Brokerage holdings: Position data (ticker symbols, share quantities, account types) retrieved via read-only OAuth access to your connected brokerage accounts.
- Derived data: Projected income calculations generated from your holdings and our securities database. These are computed values, not sourced from your brokerage.
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect or store your brokerage username or password.
- We do not access transaction history, tax documents, or personal identifying information beyond what is described above.
- We never execute trades or initiate any financial transactions on your behalf.
Brokerage Connections
Tributary connects to supported brokerages using OAuth 2.0, a secure authorization protocol. When you connect a brokerage account:
- You authorize read-only access to your holdings data.
- Your brokerage credentials are never shared with or stored by Tributary.
- Access tokens are stored securely and used only to retrieve holdings on your behalf.
- You may revoke access at any time through your brokerage account settings or within the Tributary app.
How We Use Your Data
- To display your holdings and project your investment income within the dashboard.
- To sync your positions when your brokerage data changes.
- To send you service-related communications (e.g., connection status alerts).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or brokerage holdings with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Data Security
Your data is stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases with row-level security policies enforced at the database level. All data is encrypted in transit via TLS and at rest. We implement access controls to ensure each user can only access their own data.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at josh@aiwest.co. Upon deletion, your holdings data and income projections are permanently removed within 30 days.
